Development of essential parts of the Cyberknife system (software control) developed. Special cases are discussed and scientific projects carried out via audio-visual telecommunication systems.

CLINICAL COOPERTAION PARTNERS

The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Großhadern cooperates closely with the Cyberknife Center, both in patient care and on a scientific level. Patients may be treated in coordination with the Neurosurgical Clinic if surgery is required before or after Cyberknife therapy.

In close cooperation with the head of the IZN, PD Dr. med. med. Michael Staehler, the Cyberknife treatment of kidney tumors is performed in selected cases.
