As part of oncological therapy concepts, individual lymph node metastases can often be eliminated very effectively and safely using cyberknife technology. This always applies to foci that would be surgically resected as an alternative and would therefore require a significantly higher therapeutic effort. It must always be decided in detail to what extent a purely local therapy of individual lymph node metastases is reasonable. This is particularly true in the treatment of lymph node metastases from prostate cancer.
