Radiosurgery with the Cyberknife or ZAP-X technology is gentle on the patient and is performed on an outpatient basis. It is possible to divide the typically single dose into 2-5 smaller doses to eliminate lesions in very sensitive areas of the body just as safely – while maintaining quality of life. Normal activities and work can usually be resumed shortly after treatment.
